What a fantastic start to 2026 it has been at St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School in Bishop Auckland! Our pupils have already been busy learning, competing and having fun, making the new year one to remember.
Year 4 Science Success at St John’s
Year 4 had an incredible time taking part in hands‑on science experiments during their visit to St John’s. The children showed great curiosity and enthusiasm as they explored scientific ideas through practical investigation. Experiences like these bring learning to life, helping pupils build confidence, ask questions and develop a real love of science.
Dodgeball Team Ready for Championship Action
Meanwhile, our St Wilfrid’s Dodgeball Team has been training hard and is getting ready to represent the school in the local Dodgeball Championships. The team has shown fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship – we are incredibly proud of them and wish them the very best of luck.
At St Wilfrid’s, we are committed to providing exciting learning opportunities alongside sporting achievements that help pupils grow both academically and personally.
Well done to everyone involved – we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2026 brings at St Wilfrid’s!
