Welcome to our school website. I feel privileged to be the Head teacher here at St. Wilfrid’s. This is a very special and vibrant community and it is a delight to have the opportunity to serve here.
St Wilfrid’s is a wonderful school – because of our staff, our families, our parish, our community and of course, our wonderful children! We aim to provide excellent opportunities and care for our pupils from our Early Years Unit ‘First Steps’ through to Year 6.

At St Wilfrid’s RC Primary School we follow what Jesus taught us in the Gospels. We know that God made us and that we are all equal – no-one is better than anyone else so we respect, value and learn to tolerate everyone in our school community. Our school Mission Statement ‘A School Family growing together in Love, Friendship and Faith’ fully describes our school – we are a family and all are welcome.
We are thankful for the talents and gifts God has given each member of our school community and we all work hard to use them to make sure we make our school, our local community and the world a better place.
