What a day for St Wilfrid’s!
We are absolutely bursting with pride after our pupils took to the stage for an unforgettable performance of Macbeth at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre.

Supported by the Royal Shakespeare Company, children from four of our Trust schools came together to bring Shakespeare’s classic to life. Our pupils represented St Wilfrid’s with confidence, creativity and outstanding oracy skills - a true showcase of their talent.

They performed with such enthusiasm and bravery, completely captivating the audience from start to finish. They were genuine stars of the show!

Thank You for the Wonderful Support

It was fantastic to see the theatre so well attended. Thank you to all families, friends and community members who came along to cheer on our pupils. Your support means the world to them - and to us.

We could not be prouder of every single performer, and we are incredibly grateful to the staff who helped make this special experience possible.
Here’s to many more magical moments on stage together!

Headteacher, Joanne Sands said, "It was an honour to be part of the audience seeing our pupils taking part in the presentation of Macbeth on stage at the Town Hall in Hartlepool. Having seen the hard work and dedication from staff and pupils over the past weeks, it was great seeing the finished product.

Their confidence and composure helped bring Shakespeare’s  words to life with their energy, courage, and imagination. It was both moving and deeply inspiring to see all of the schools come together to celebrate the pupils hard work and creativity. Our staff and pupils enjoy the link with the RSC and it's definitely helping develop pupils confidence as well as improving  the quality of their writing."
